Sabrina Carpenter gave us a taste of her new sound with the viral hit “Espresso”, and it turns out this was just the first dose. The former Disney star is welcoming summer in style—by gearing up for the release of her sixth studio album Short n’ Sweet.

Carpenter took to social media to announce her new album is on the way, writing “This project is quite special to me and I hope it’ll be something special to you too.” She revealed her next LP will be titled Short n’ Sweet, shortly after teasing it with a series of billboards referencing her height.

“Nonsense” singer also revealed her new album will be released on August 23 via Island Records, and we won’t have to wait for long to hear more of it. Carpenter said we should keep an eye out for a special surprise coming our way on Thursday night, most likely her next single.

Carpenter created a lot of hype for Short n’ Sweet with its lead single “Espresso”, which became a viral sensation since hitting the shelves in April. It topped the charts in several countries, and became her biggest Billboard Hot 100 hit so far at No. 4.
