Sacha Baron Cohen Teases New Show With 10-Minute Clip

With its official premiere coming up soon, Sacha Baron Cohen has posted another clip of his new show, giving fans a little taste of what’s to come. 

The comedian shared a 10-minute first-look teaser video of himself in costume during a gun rights activist, a part of his new Showtime series, Who Is America? In the clip, Cohen, who is heavily made-up, plays a character who believes America’s schoolchildren should be armed to prevent mass shootings as he interviews pro-gun rights activist Philip Van Cleave. 

Cohen first teased his new project on July 4. The next day it was revealed that the new project is, in fact, a new series from Showtime titled, Who Is America? The series is set to premiere July 15. 

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the show has been in the works for the past year. The list of those duped hasn’t been confirmed but according to the outlet both Republicans and Democrats were targeted, including Cheney, Sarah Palin, Howard Dean, Alberto Gonzales, Bernie Sanders, Trent Lott, David Petraeus, Ted Koppel and more.
