Sam Rockwell to Lead Star-Studded Cast of “Good Luck, Have Fun, Don’t Die”

Gore Verbinski is plotting his next film Good Luck, Have Fun, Don’t Die, and its cast will include some of Hollywood’s most acclaimed actors. Oscar winner Sam Rockwell will lead the cast of Verbinski’s comeback film alongside Haley Lu Richardson and Michael Peña.

Good Luck, Have Fun, Don’t Die will center on a man who comes back for the future to convince a group of disgruntled patrons at an LA diner to join him on a mission to save the world from the terminal threat of rogue artificial intelligence.

This film will mark Verbinski’s first directorial effort in eight years, since the sci-fi psychological thriller A Cure for Wellness in 2016. Pirates of the Caribbean director also serves as one of the film’s producers alongside Denise Chamian and 3 Arts Entertainment’s Erwin Stoff and Oly Obst, while Matthew Robinson (Love & Monsters) wrote the script.

In addition to Rockwell (Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri) in the lead role, this high-profile project will also star Haley Lu Richardson (The White Lotus), Michael Peña (The Ant-Man franchise), Zazie Beetz (Atlanta), and Juno Temple (Ted Lasso). Additional casting is currently underway, while the production will kick off in Cape Town, South Africa later this year.
