Ocean’s 8 star Sandra Bullock recently had an appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show and decided to share some surprising news. During a conversation with the host, Bullock admitted that she had a crush on actor Keanu Reeves during the filming of action thriller Speed.
“I think of how sweet Keanu Reeves was and how handsome he was,” Bullock told DeGeneres when asked to reminisce the 1994’s hit. “It was hard for me to, like, really be serious. He would look at me, and I would, like, [nervous laughter].”
The fact that Reeves was a perfect gentleman and good acting partner just made it worse for her to stay focused.
“My dress sort of kept flying up…So, I said, ‘Whatever you do, just keep my dress down,'” – she recalled. “The whole stunt, he just made sure my dress [was kept down]….It was very sweet.”
Unfortunately, despite this, Sandra Bullock and Keanu Reeves never dated in real life.
“Never dated him. There’s just something about me that I guess he didn’t like!” – Bullock added jokingly.
Speed wasn’t the only movie Bullock and Reeves filmed, also collaborating on 2004’s The Lake House.
