The ensemble cast of Superman: Legacy is constantly expanding, and another amazing cast member just joined this superhero flick. The former Victoria’s Secret Angel Sara Sampaio will play Lex Luthor’s confidante Eve Teschmacher in James Gunn’s upcoming film.
Eve Teschmacher has been portrayed as Lex Luthor’s assistant, right hand, and love interest in the Superman comics. Valerie Perrine played this character in the Superman films led by Christopher Reeve, while Andrea Brooks followed in her footsteps in The CW’s Supergirl.
Sampaio made a name for herself as a model, especially during her time working for Victoria’s Secret. This marks her major studio acting role, but she previously made her acting debut in the hit TV show Billions and starred in several music videos.
Sampaio is joining a stacked cast of Superman: Legacy, which also includes David Corenswet as Superman, Rachel Brosnahan as Lois Lane, Isabela Merced as Hawkgirl, Edi Gathegi as Mister Terrific, Nathan Fillion as Guy Gardner, Anthony Carrigan as Metamorpho, and María Gabriela de Faría as The Engineer, and Skyler Gisondo as Jimmy Olsen.
Superman: Legacy is supposed to start filming this January in Atlanta, with DC co-president James Gunn serving as its director. It’s scheduled to hit the theaters on July 11, 2025.
