Sarah Jessica Parker’s Daughters Make Rare Red Carpet Appearance

On Thursday night, Sarah Jessica Parker hit the red carpet with her twin daughters in a rare public appearance, to support New York City Ballet’s 2018 Spring Gala.

The 53-year-old actress is known to be very protective of her kids, but made an exception for the gala. Eight-year-old twins Tabitha and Loretta posed for photos in their floral dresses and matching ballet shoes.

As for the Sex and the City star, she donned a white dress with sheer long sleeves, matched with silver heels.

“Special night @nycballet and my wee dates are getting ready,” Sarah wrote on her Instagram before arriving at the evening gala.

“Oh beautiful, talented @nycballet ballet dancers, we can’t wait to see you. X, SJ and daughters,” she added.

The special event pays tribute to Jerome Robbins as part of Robbins 100. The night’s honorary committee includes Barbra Streisand, Shirley MacLaine, Jake Gyllenhaal, and Parker herself.

Parker recently talked about raising her twins in an interview with People. She said that Tabitha and Loretta have established their own separate identities.

“They have different interests,” she says. “They’re really devoted to each other, but they’ll also say, ‘I need time away from her.’ Tabitha can play by herself for hours. Loretta always needs to be checking in. They go to different schools. That’s Tabitha’s idea.”

The actress and husband of 20 years Matthew Broderick also have a 15-year-old son James Wilkie.
