Sarah Michelle Gellar and Freddie Prinze Jr. on celebrating their 15th wedding anniversary.
The Buffy and Scooby Doo star took to Instagram on Friday and shared an adorable video montage of the couple’s relationship throughout the years. The video begins with a photo from their wedding days, and continues commemorating loving moments from each of the couple’s long-lasting relationship. Gellar added a humor-filled caption to the video, writing, “My husband thinks I’m crazy, but I’m not the one who married me. #happyanniversary @realfreddieprinze 15 years!!”
Gellar and Prinze met on the set of the 1997 thriller I Know What You Did Last Summer, began dating in 2000 and got married in 2002. They share 7-year-old Charlotte Grace and 5-year-old Rocky James. Just last year, during a Facebook live interview, Prinze admitted that he knew Gellar was the one for him during their first date.
In 2016, during an interview with PEOPLE, Gellar revealed what she believes is the most important thing to do in order to have a successful marriage – paying attention to your partner.
