“Scandal” and “How to Get Away With Murder” Will Crossover

Hold on to your hats people, it’s about to get exciting!

It has been officially confirmed that fans will get to see Scandal‘s Olivia Pope in the same room with How to Get Away With Murder‘s Annalise Keating.

Creator Shonda Rhimes confirmed the crossover on social media on Wednesday. She tweeted, ” People. It’s happening. @petenowalk, you ready for this? #TGITCrossover #HowtoGetAwaywithScandal. She even added a photo of the script page showing Pope and Keating meeting for the first time.

Kerry Washington and Viola Davies joined the crossover frenzy both taking to Instagram.  Washington posts a pic of herself sitting on a bench in the courthouse set of HTGAWM. She added the caption, “Hey Ms @violadavis check it out. This spot look familiar?! Where are you?” Shortly after, Davis posted a pic of herself in front of Mellie’s desk on Scandal‘s Oval Office set. “Hey @KerryWashington, guess where I am?!” she captioned the snap.

With Shondaland programming returning January 18, the crossover is expected to happen around March.
