The 90s slasher movie is getting a reboot from Ready or Not filmmakers.
Multiple outlets confirm that the reboot of Scream has found its directors: Matthew Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett.
The original 1996 horror feature was directed by Wes Craven and written by Kevin Williamson. It starred Neve Campbell as Sidney Prescott as the target of the Ghostface killer, with Courteney Cox and David Arquette co-starring in the four-film franchise.
Details on the fifth iteration of Scream from Spyglass are scarce and it is unclear whether it’s a reboot or a continuation of the story.
