Bunk’d did a great job continuing the story of the classic Disney Channel series Jessie, but its ending is on the horizon. The seventh season will return for ten more episodes next year, and it will mark the final chapter of this beloved Disney Channel show.

Bunk’d launched on Disney Channel in 2015, and it initially served as a sequel to Jessie, which saw the Ross siblings Emma (Peyton List), Ravi (Karan Brar), and Zuri (Skai Jackson) embarking on a new adventure at a rustic Camp Kikiwaka. The story branched out in new directions after the trio left the show following Season 3, putting the enthusiastic camp counselor Lou Hockhauser (Miranda May) front and center.

Ayo Davis, president of Disney Branded Television, announced the show’s cancelation and expressed gratitude to its talented cast, creative team, and crew for bringing tremendous joy and laughter to kids for seven incredible seasons.

“With a fantastic cast of characters and hilarious and heartful storylines, it’s no wonder Bunk’d has been one of Disney Channel’s longest-running and successful live-action series,” said Davis in a statement to Deadline.

Bunk’d will conclude its run with ten new episodes set to air in 2024, after the seventh season abruptly stopped filming midway through due to the WGA strike this summer.
