A second surprise Dave Chappelle stand-up special will hit Netflix on New Year’s Eve

Looks like Dave Chappelle’s fans have been extra good this year as Netflix is bringing them not one, but two stand-up specials!

After announcing Dave Chappelle: Equanimity, which will premiere on the streaming giant on December 31, Netflix now confirms a second stand-up special titled Dave Chappelle: The Bird Revelation with the same premiere date.

While Equanimity was shot at the Warner Theatre in Washington DC, the new special was shot at The Comedy Store in Los Angeles on November 20.

Chappelle released two specials on Netflix earlier this year, The Age of Spin: Dave Chappelle Live at the Hollywood Palladium and Deep in the Heart of Texas: Dave Chappelle Live at Austin City Limits, which made the streaming service a go to place to watch groundbreaking stand-up comedy.

As his specials have rocketed to success, no doubt 2017 has been good to Chappelle.
