Selena Gomez and The Weeknd can’t keep their hands to themselves as they got cozy at Coachella Music and Arts Festival.
Just one week after The Weeknd made their relationship official on Instagram, the new lovebirds kept the sweetness flowing during the festival’s second day. ET’s source revealed that the 27-year-old singer kept his arm tightly around Gomez’s waist while enjoying some of Saturday’s performances.
Gomez looked adorable in a simple floral sundress with matching bandana tied around her neck and white sneakers, while her beau donned a casual ripped jeans and a button-down shirt, for the music festival.
The 24-year-old pop star, who has 117 million followers on social media, also made her relationship with The Weeknd official by sharing her first photo with the Canadian rapper on Instagram.
The picture shows The Weekend, whose real name is Abel Tesfaye, with his arm wrapped around Gomez’s neck, as she smiles sweetly and holds onto his arm. The photo, although there was no caption, rocketed to over five million likes in a matter of 12 hours.
The Weeknd made a surprise appearance onstage during the star-studded festival and performed together with hip hop artist Nav, but Gomez did not join him on stage.
The couple have made their romance known on social media ever since they began dating in early January.
They’ve been seen smooching almost everywhere they go. They were spotted at a birthday bash in Hollywood Hills hosted by The Weeknd for rapper Belly last April 7.
Prior to that, Gomez joined her boyfriend in his tour in Argentina, Colombia and Brazil.
This year’s Coachella festivities include performances by Lady Gaga, Radiohead, Kendrick Lamar, Lorde, Bon Iver, Future, DJ Khaled and many more.
