After many rumors circulated, it’s official: A spokesperson for pro tennis athlete Serena Williams has confirmed the that she is expecting via a Snapchat photo.
The BBC reports that Williams, whose baby is due this fall, will not be able to take part in the remainder of the season which includes the French Open, Wimbledon, and US Open.
The Timeline means that Williams was pregnant when she won the Australian Open in January. Williams engaged to Reddit co-founder Alexis Ohanian late last year .
