It’s officially confirmed – Seth Rogen and Billy Eichner will be the voices of Timon and Pumbaa in the upcoming live-action movie The Lion King, as Variety reports.
Simba will get his voice from Donald Glover, while Mufasa will be brought to life by James Earl Jones.
The original animated film presented Timon and Pumbaa as the lovable meerkat and warthog who stayed by Simba as he left his kingdom.
The studio is currently focused on creating live-action adaptations of famous animated movies such as Alice in Wonderland (2010), Maleficient (2014), Cinderella (2015), and Beauty and the Beast (2017).
