Severance took us on one wild ride over the course of the past two seasons, and there’s more where that came from! Mark Scout’s rebellion against Lumon will continue after Apple TV+ renewed the acclaimed sci-fi drama for Season 3.
Severance takes us to the underbelly of the sinister corporation Lumon Industries, and centers on a group of workers who agreed to take part in the “severance” procedure, which separated their work lives from their personal lives.
Adam Scott leads the cast of Severance as Mark Scout, who decides to undergo “severance” while grieving the death of his wife. The show’s ensemble cast also includes Zach Cherry, Britt Lower, Tramell Tillman, Jen Tullock, Dichen Lachman, Michael Chernus, John Turturro, Christopher Walken, Sarah Bock, and Patricia Arquette.
Dan Erickson, who created Severance for Apple TV+, confirmed the show’s renewal and promised another mind-blowing season.
“The idea of getting to make more Severance with the greatest cast and crew on Earth is more thrilling to me than all the world’s finger traps combined. I can’t wait to continue spreading woe, frolic, dread, and malice with these truly incredible people,” said Erickson in a statement.
Severance grew into Apple TV+’s most-watched series since its premiere in 2022 and received nominations for many prestigious accolades, including 14 Emmy Awards for its first season.
