“The Simpsons” Turned down Trump Guest Appearance on Show

President Donald Trump has been turned down by The Simpsons for a guest appearance on the show. The executive producer Al Jean revealed this at Comic-Con on Saturday and explained briefly: “Let’s just say he’s the president of the United States.”

Bill Oakley, a former writer of The Simpsons, tweeted about his relief regarding Trump not appearing on the animated series: “I continue to thank God that Donald Trump was never invited to do a voice on The Simpsons even during the brief period when he was popular”

Trump has already appeared on The Simpsons before, but only as the subject of the joke.
