Singer Trey Songz Arrested
Popular singer Trey Songz was arrested last night, December 28th, in Detroit, Michigan.
The arrest comes as a result of an incident at one of Songz’s concerts last night, which saw the singer tossing microphones and speakers into the audience.
What set off the incident, according to police spokesman Officer Dan Donakowski, is that Songz was told that he had to leave the stage by 11:30 pm per city curfew. After being told this, the singer became “upset and belligerent”, according to the spokesman.
During the incident, a Detroit police sergeant was struck by one of the tossed objects in the head.
Trey Songz was arrested and held until Thursday morning in the Detroit Detention Center.
The singer is facing various charges after the incident, including malicious destruction of property, resisting, and obstruction.
