Snoop Dogg Receives a Star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame

In the future, if you decide to take a tour and see all the stars on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, you’ll be able to check out Snoop Dogg as well. The 47-year-old rapper recently joined other prominent rap figures including Dr. Dre, Pharrell Williams, and Ice Cube, and received his own star on the famous street.

Hundreds of fans showed up to attend the ceremony of unveiling Snoop Dogg’s star, which featured the “Drop It Like It’s Hot” rapper giving a speech and thanking his fans, family and friends who helped him to get where he is now.

The best moment of the ceremony, which was attended by some high-profile names like talks show host Jimmy Kimmel and record producer Quincy Jones, came towards the end of Snoop’s speech when he decided to also thank the most deserving person for his success; himself.

“Last but not least, I want to thank me for believing in me,” – said Snoop Dogg. “I want to thank me for doing all this hard work. I want to thank me for having no days off. I want to thank me for never quitting. I want to thank me for always being a giver and trying to give more than I receive.”

“I want to thank me for trying to do more right than wrong,” – he added. “I want to thank me for just being me at all times. Snoop Dogg, you a bad mothe**ker.”

Snoop also has a new cookbook out, From Crook To Cook: Platinum Recipes From Tha Boss Dogg’s Kitchen, while his game show Snoop Dogg Presents The Joker’s Wild was renewed for another season at TBS.
