“Spider-Man: Far From Home” Dominates Fourth of July Weekend Box Office

The 23rd movie in Marvel’s Cinematic Universe is dominating the box office. 

Spider-Man: Far From Home’s six-day 4th of July release has raked an impressive $185 million domestically and a whopping $395 million overseas. 

Second and third place go to holdovers Toy Story 4, with an estimated $34.3 million and Yesterday with an estimated $10.8 million respectively. 

According to multiple outlets, the latest installment of the web-slinging hero has set several records since its debut Tuesday night including biggest Tuesday ticket sales of all time ($38 million), best Wednesday grosses for a Marvel movie ($27 million) and the second-largest 4th of July holiday ($25 million).
