Star Wars Episode VIII will be Called “The Last Jedi”

Star Wars fans, get ready! The title of the Star Wars: Episode VIII has finally been released and its title will be Star Wars: The Last Jedi. We also know a release date, which is December 15, 2017. A whole year of waiting!

The writer and director of The Last Jedi is Rian Jonson, while the producers are Kathleen Kennedy and Ram Bergman. The executive producers are J.J. Abrams, Jason McGatlin, and Tom Karnowski.

We still don’t know what will happen to Princess Leia’s role, since the actress Carrie Fisher suddenly passed away in December. Fisher was supposed to act in both Episode VIII and Episode IX, but Lucasfilm and Disney didn’t want to comment on this.
