The murder-mystery series Only Murders In The Building starring Steve Martin, Selena Gomez, and Martin Short has gotten a trailer and release date of August 31.
The Hulu series centers around the trio, who have a fascination with true crime and they find themselves in the midst of one after a death happens in their exclusive Upper West Side apartment building. Before long they suspect murder and they use their passion for true crime to uncover the mystery all while recording the process for their podcast and finding out secrets about their apartment building.
Aaron Dominguez, Amy Ryan, and Nathan Lane also star in the series that was co-created and written by Martin and John Hoffman. Executive producing are Short, Gomez, Dan Fogelman, Jamie Babbitt, and Jess Rosenthal.
“A great murder mystery unpeels itself like an onion,” says Martin’s character in the trailer. “Secrets are the fun part,” Gomez says. “Sometimes it’s easier to find out someone else’s secret than deal with your own,” Short adds.
