After a lot of anticipation, the new season of Stranger Things is coming to Netflix next year, and it’s shaping up to be much different than we expected. A new trailer for the next chapter of the beloved sci-fi series is here, and it shows Eleven starting a new life in California.

The one-minute teaser, titled “Welcome to California”, sees Eleven trying to fit in at her new high school. She narrates a letter to Mike, promising they’ll have “the best spring break ever”, but a montage of sinister clips promises more danger to come.

Millie Bobby Brown is set to return as Eleven, and she’ll be joined by the rest of the ensemble cast, including Winona Ryder, David Harbour, Finn Wolfhard, Gaten Matarazzo, Caleb McLaughlin, Noah Schnapp, and many more. In addition to dropping a new trailer, Netflix also shared the titles of Season 4 episodes, starting with The Hellfire Club.

Season 4 of Stranger Things still doesn’t have an official release date, but it’s expected to premiere sometime in 2022. According to the Duffer Brothers, it will focus on a “new horror beginning to surface, something long-buried, something that connects everything…”
