The fifth and final season of Stranger Things is coming our way next year, and the beloved series finally wrapped its production. Netflix posted a series of photos from behind the scenes to mark the occasion, while several of its stars shared emotional farewells to the series that put them on the map.

The production on Season 5 of Stranger Things took place throughout this year, and Netflix recently announced they finally reached the finish line. The streaming giant shared a slew of photos taking us behind the scenes of the show’s final season, which will premiere sometime in 2025.

Saying goodbye was an emotional experience for the show’s young cast, including its breakout star Millie Bobby Brown, who got emotional while reading a goodbye speech during her final day on set.

“Isn’t graduation supposed to bring relief, like you’re glad to leave behind the teachers and classmates? Not me. I am nowhere near ready to leave you guys. I love each and every one of you, and I’ll forever carry the memories and bonds we’ve created together as a family,” said Brown in a video shared on Instagram.

In addition to Brown, Season 5 will also mark the return of Winona Ryder, David Harbour, Finn Wolfhard, Gaten Matarazzo, Caleb McLaughlin, Natalia Dyer, Charlie Heaton, Noah Schnapp, Sadie Sink, Joe Keery, Maya Hawke, and Priah Ferguson. It will feature eight episodes, set to premiere on Netflix in 2025.
