The new NFL season is in the full swing, and it was just a matter of time before the new Super Bowl headliner was announced. That moment is finally here, and the NFL bosses revealed that Rihanna will be in charge of headlining the 2023 Apple Music Super Bowl Halftime Show.

After rumors about her headlining spot went viral on Sunday, the nine-time Grammy-winning artist decided to put a stop to them. She confirmed she’s set as a Super Bowl headliner by posting a photo that shows her hand holding an NFL football.

Apple Music was recently named the official sponsor of the Super Bowl halftime show, succeeding Pepsi after almost a decade. Oliver Schusser, Apple’s VP of Apple Music and Beats, was thrilled to announce Rihanna will be the one taking charge of the inaugural Apple Music Super Bowl Halftime Show.

“Rihanna is an incredible recording artist who is a favorite for many millions of Apple Music customers around the world. We’re excited to partner with Rihanna, Roc Nation, and the NFL to bring music and sports fans a momentous show,” said Schusser in a statement.

Rihanna will perform at the halftime show on February 12, 2023, when the Super Bowl LVII returns to State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona.
