“Superstore” is Coming Back to NBC For Season 5

Superstore is one of the most underrated sitcoms airing today but NBC seems to be happy with the ratings it pulled so far. The network just renewed this hilarious workplace comedy for another season.

Just like its name suggests, Superstore follows the day-to-day adventures of colorful characters working at a big box store. Golden Globe winner America Ferrera is leading the ensemble as Amy, a hard-working floor supervisor who’s holding the whole thing together.

Superstore also stars Lauren Ash, Ben Feldman, Colton Dunn, and Nichole Bloom. It’s been created by Justin Spitzer, who previously served as one of the writers and executive producers of The Office.

Lisa Katz and Tracey Pakosta, co-presidents of scripted programming for NBC Entertainment, are sure he’ll do a stupendous job with the upcoming season of this show.

“Week after week Justin Spitzer, our amazing writers, and cast and crew masterfully deliver a comedy that not only makes us laugh but speaks to the larger issues of the day,” said the duo in a joint statement.
