NBC has renewed Superstore for a sixth season.
News of the renewal comes as the show is currently airing its fifth season.
“We’re thrilled that Superstore continues to speak to many important and topical issues while simultaneously being hilarious,” said Lisa Katz and Tracey Pakosta, co-presidents of scripted programming for NBC Entertainment.
The series takes place in fictional big-box store Cloud 9 and stars America Ferrera, Ben Feldman, Lauren Ash, Colton Dunn, Nico Santos, Nichole Bloom, Kaliko Kauahi, and Mark McKinney.
Superstore joins other recently renewed NBC series including Brooklyn Nine-Nine and New Amsterdam.
