Sweden’s Royal Family Christens Princess Adrienne In a Beautiful Ceremony

Princess Adrienne, the third child of Sweden’s Princess Madeleine and Christopher O’Neill, was baptized in a beautiful ceremony at the Royal Chapel of Drottningholm Palace, Stockholm, last week.

The 3-month-old baby girl was the third granddaughter of King Carl XVI and Queen Silvia. She was tenth in line for the throne following her two older siblings, Princess Leonore, 4, and Prince Nicolas, 2.

The whole royal family was in attendance for little Adrienne’s big day, including Crown Princess Victoria, Prince Carl Philip, Prince Daniel, Princess Sofia, and the young princess’ cousins.

The little girl was christened in a traditional gown but it was her lovely mom, Princess Madeleine, who turned heads in a white floral dress matched with a flower crown. The christening date is also memorable for the royal couple, as it also marks their fifth wedding anniversary.

The official site of the Swedish royal family released the photos from the occasion, celebrating Princess Madeleine’s 36th birthday, which took place on Sunday. The event isn’t the only royal christening for this season as Prince William and Kate Middleton’s newborn son, Prince Louis, will probably have his christening around July.
