Richard Flood is set to recur on season 16 of ABC’s hit medical drama. According to Entertainment Weekly, Flood is set to star as Dr. Cormac Hayes, the new head of Pediatric Surgery at Grey Sloan Memorial. 

Whether you’re a Grey’s fan or not, let us remind you that at the end of last season’s finale, Dr. Justin Chamver’s Alex Karev was sacked by Bailey and has since relocated to a new hospital where he serves as the chief of surgery. 

Flood is known for playing Ford, Fiona’s boyfriend, on Shameless.
