Avengers: Doomsday will be the first Avengers film since Avengers: Endgame – and it will be worth the wait! Marvel dropped some hints about the show’s cast and revealed it will mark the return of several original Avengers, including Chris Hemsworth as Thor and Jeremy Renner as Clint Barton / Hawkeye.
The star-studded cast will also include Anthony Mackie as Sam Wilson / Captain America, Sebastian Stan as Bucky Barnes / Winter Soldier, Paul Rudd as Scott Lang / Ant-Man, Tom Hiddleston as Loki, Letitia Wright as Shuri, and Winston Duke as M’Baku.
Several original X-Men stars will make their return, including Patrick Stewart as Professor Charles Xavier, Ian McKellen as Magneto, Kelsey Grammer as Beast, Alan Cumming as Nightcrawler, James Marsden as Cyclops, and Rebecca Romijn as Mystique.
Robert Downey Jr. previously announced his return to the MCU as Victor von Doom / Doctor Doom, and he’ll be joined by the new cast of Fantastic Four – Vanessa Kirby as the Invisible Woman, Joseph Quinn as Human Torch, and Ebon Moss-Bachrach as Ben Grimm / The Thing, and Pedro Pascal as Reed Richards / Mister Fantastic.
Avengers: Doomsday will be released on May 1, 2026, as part of Phase Six of the MCU.
Netflix just dropped three trailers, giving us a closer look at the new episodes of the visionary show.
The first episode, “Smithereens,” will center on a cab driver with an agenda, whose day rapidly spirals out of control after he becomes the center of unwanted attention. It stars Andrew Scott and Topher Grace, with James Hawes serving as a director.
The second episode, “Rachel, Jack and Ashley Too” sees Miley Cyrus taking the lead, as international pop sensation Ashley O. She borrows her name and voice to a series of sinister robo-dolls, and a lonely teenager who yearns for connection with her favorite superstar ends up buying one of them.
The third episode, “Striking Vipers” follows two estranged college friends (Anthony Mackie and Yahya Abdul-Mateen II) who find their way to each other, but their reunion ends up triggering a series of events that could alter their lives forever.
All three episodes will start streaming on Netflix starting with June 5th.
