Her partner Justin Verlander posted a matching photo, with a sweet caption that read, “Welcome to the world Genevieve Upton Verlander. You stole my heart the first second I met you!”

The couple has been dating since 2014 and got married three years later in Italy. Upton announced her pregnancy in July this year, and her husband made it loud and clear that she’s going to be the most amazing mom ever.

“I can’t wait to start this new journey with you! You’re the most thoughtful, loving, caring, and strong woman I’ve ever met! I’m so proud that our little one is going to be raised in this world by a woman like you! I love you so much,” wrote Verlander on Instagram back in July.

Famous singer and his pregnant wife announced the pregnancy with the help of their first child, 19-month-old Luna Simone.

“Luna, what’s in here?” Chrissy asked pointing at her stomach. Luna responded, “B-B!” Chrissy humorously captioned the post, “It’s John’s!”

When asked how Luna will react to the new baby, John responded, “I have no idea. She is very sweet and she likes to share, so hopefully that will translate.”
