The Glee alum took to Instagram to announced that she will drop her first-ever Christmas album, Christmas in the City, this October.

The 33-year-old singer/actress told People that the album has been a lifelong dream for her. 

“It was always my dream to make a Christmas record,” Michele told People. “Christmas is so special to me. It’s such an important time of year for me and my family that I have so many incredible memories from.”

Such a festive occasion calls for special collaborations. Michele has enlisted some major talent to belt out those Christmas tunes. She’ll be joined by Jonathan Groff, Darren Criss, and Cynthia Erivo. 

“Jonathan is my best friend in the entire world, and the song we’re singing on the record, ‘I’ll Be Home for Christmas,’ we’ve been singing together for over 10 years,” Michelle added. “Darren and I are dear friends so it was only natural that I would have him come on the record with me. My third very special guest is the incredible Cynthia Erivo, and if you don’t know Cynthia, you’re going to know her soon.”

The festive album features old classics and new romantic songs including the title track, which is a duet between Gwen and boyfriend Blake Shelton. The songs “My Gift Is You” and “Never Kissed Anyone With Blue Eyes Before You,” which were written by Stefani were clear reference to the blue-eyed country singer, ET reports.

“I can’t wait to give all my lovin’ to my best friend. All I want is you to take my love and give it back again. Don’t need no money, don’t need a thing. I don’t even need a wedding ring. All I need is love and the truth, and I got it, my gift is you,” part of the lyrics.
