The Enigma concert-goers were treated to a surprise performance of “Shallow”, Gaga and Bradley Cooper’s hit duet from the film A Star Is Born. 

As Cooper took to the stage to perform the Oscar-nominated hit single from the film it was proof to all that their Jack and Ally charisma isn’t just for the big screen. The two walked up to the piano and Cooper took a seat at a stool and began powering through solo (and live) first verse of the song. It was then that Gaga took her seat at the piano and belted out the rest of the track. 

“Shallow” was nominated for the Best Original Song Oscar. Cooper and Gaga were also nominated for Best Actor and Best Actress. A Star Is Born also received the night’s biggest nom of all and will duke it out for the coveted title of Best Picture. 

Cooper and Gaga are set to perform “Shallow” at this year’s Academy Awards in February.

Lady Gaga has reinvented herself (again!). The 32-year-old singer kicked off her Las Vegas residency, Enigma, on Friday night and it was out of this world. 

The A Star Is Born star introduced her new alter-ego, a glittery metallic alien named — you guessed it, Enigma. The alien made several appearances throughout the show. After Enigma welcomed concertgoers, Gaga sang a 90-minute-long set of fan favorites including the hits “Bad Romance” and “Telephone.”

The crowd of some 5,200 included several celebrities including Adam Lambert, Katy Perry, Orlando Bloom, Foo Fighters singer Dave Grohl, Avengers star Jeremy Renner, actresses Regina King and Marisa Tomei, among others.

“We have shared so much. I love you with all my heart,” Gaga told the crowd, per PEOPLE. “I’ll tell you something. There’s a lot of stuff that goes on in my life that none of you have ever seen, and I try to share some of it with you. But, I can’t share it all because you have to be there to see it. So in some small way, I guess my enigma came to me so I could share some small part of me with you.”

Lady Gaga is set to perform a total of 23 Enigma shows.
