]]> This year’s MTV EMAs are going to be pitch perfect. 

MTV has just announced its host for the 2018 MTV EMAs. Oscar-nominated actress Hailee Steinfeld has landed the gig but that’s not all that she’ll be doing during the show. The 21-year-old, who also boasts a successful music career, will sing and perhaps will get to take the title of “Best Pop” home. Others artists nominated in the category are Ariana Grande, Camila Cabello, Dua Lipa, and Shawn Mendes. 

The news was announced by the network via a Facebook Live sketch video on Thursday. 

“The EMAs are a show where anything can happen,” Steinfeld said in a press release. “I can’t wait to host a night filled with incredible artists, performances, some surprises of my own–let’s do this, Bilbao!”

“Hailee is a true global superstar renowned for her exceptional talent with a career that spans music, film and TV,” said Bruce Gillmer, global head of music and talent, Viacom and co-brand head, MTV International. “We are thrilled to have her as host for this year’s MTV EMAs in Bilbao and can’t wait to see her light up the stage with her incredible energy.”

The 2018 MTV EMAs will take place in Bilbao, Spain on November 4.
