Cooper is currently busy promoting his latest movie Maestro, and he recently set down with The New Yorker Radio Hour to discuss this project. They brought up the Hangover franchise during the interview, and Cooper had nothing but kind words for the comedy series that put him on the map and the creative team behind it.
“I would probably do Hangover 4 in an instant. Just because I love Todd, I love Zach [Galifianakis], I love Ed [Helms] so much, I probably would. I don’t think Todd [Phillips] is ever going to do that,” said Cooper.
Even though it’s been years since the last film in the Hangover franchise came out, Cooper continued working with Phillips and served as a producer of his last film Joker. He also received four Oscar nods as an actor, for his roles in Silver Linings Playbook, American Hustle, American Sniper, and A Star is Born, which he also directed and co-wrote with Eric Roth and Will Fetters.
