Just like the original series, the next chapter will follow a group of aspiring actors working for a catering company in Los Angeles while they hope for their big break. Adam Scott, Jane Lynch, Ken Marino, Martin Starr, Ryan Hansen, and Megan Mullally are returning for the revival, while Lizzy Caplan will sit this one out due to scheduling conflicts.

As for new characters, Garner will take on a role of a producer for a big studio franchise exploring new directions after a tough breakup. Marsden will join her in a recurring role, as a famous actor who became a household name thanks to a popular superhero franchise.

Williams will play a wannabe internet influencer, while Chao will join the Party Down gang as a creative food artist dreaming of becoming a celebrity chef. They’ll both the credited as series regulars, just like Garner.

The Party Down revival will feature a total of six episodes, and its creators/EPs, Rob Thomas, John Enbom, Paul Rudd, and Dan Etheridge are also expected to return.
