The independent political thriller tells the story of the FBI’s attempts to discredit Jean Seberg (Stewart) through its Cointelpro program for her support of the Black Panther Party. Those efforts included creating a bogus story in 1970 that the child Seberg was carrying was not fathered by her husband, but by a member of the Black Panther Party.

It is unknown who Beetz will play in the movie, but in the mean while she has definitely been landing some coveted gigs including Domino in the upcoming Deadpool 2. She also took part in Steven Soderbergh’s new film, High Flying Bird and a supporting role in the still untitled Annapurna pic starring Armie Hammer.

Shooting of Against All Enemies is expected to start in the summer.
