]]>According to Netflix’s official logline, Unfrosted will take us to Michigan in 1963, when milk and cereal ruled breakfast and a fierce corporate battle was fought over a revolutionary new pastry. This tale of ambition, betrayal, sugar, and menacing milkmen will see the fierce rivals Kellogg’s and Post trying to create a pastry that will change the face of breakfast.
Unfrosted marks Seinfeld’s feature film directorial debut, and he admitted he initially started developing this project as a joke alongside co-writer Spike Feresten. After being intrigued by Pop-Tart’s history, they decided to write Unfrosted for real and eventually finished the scripts alongside Barry Marder and Andy Robin.
Seinfeld leads this Netflix comedy, and he managed to round out a pretty impressive ensemble cast, including the likes of Melissa McCarthy, Jim Gaffigan, Amy Schumer, James Marsden, Jack McBrayer, Bobby Moynihan, Maria Bakalova, Max Greenfield, Bill Burr, Dan Levy, Christian Slater, and Hugh Grant.
Unfrosted: The Pop-Tart Story is scheduled to debut on Netflix on May 3.

]]>Jerry Seinfeld: 23 Hours To Kill will hit the streaming platform as soon as next month. Per Deadline, the special was filmed at the Beacon Theatre in New York and was part of his residency at the venue.
23 Hours To Kill is Seinfeld’s second stand-up special for Netflix under his production deal with the streamer. His first special, Jerry Before Seinfeld, launched in 2017, the year the deal was inked and featured never-before-seen materials from his life.
