The new drama pilot at CBS hails from the creators of The Good Fight. Titled Evil, the forthcoming show delves deep into the battle between science and religion. 

The Kings have tapped Katja Herbers to star as the show’s female lead — Kristen Benoist, a skeptical psychologist, who has teamed up with the Catholic Church to look into cases of unexplained phenomena in order to determine if there’s a scientific or supernatural explanation.

Robert King will direct the pilot from a script co-written by himself and his partner. The duo will also executive produce with Liz Glotzer, president of the couple’s King Size Productions.

Katja Herbers is best known for her role on HBO’s Westworld. Her other credits include Divorce, Manhunt: Unabobmer, The Leftovers and Manhattan, among others.
