After announcing their engagement in November, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle announced that the wedding will take place at St. George’s Chapel in Windsor Castle on Saturday, May 19. Now the palace has confirmed what time the ceremony has been set to — 12 p.m.

The Palace uploaded a number of tweets each revealing a different piece of information about the day starting with, “Prince Harry and Ms. Meghan Markle are hugely grateful for the many good wishes they have received since announcing their engagement. They are very much looking forward to the day and to being able to share their celebrations with the public.”

Then they moved on the key details of the much anticipated royal event: conducting the service and officiating the couple is The Archbishop of Canterbury, Harry and Meghan will take a carriage ride around the town, reception will be held at St. George’s Hall followed by a private evening reception for the couple and their close family and friends.

Kate Middleton celebrated her birthday quietly. The expecting royal opted out of a big celebration and spent the day with close family. Sources told E! News that the Duchess spent the low-key day with her husband Prince William and their two children, 4-year-old Prince George and 2-year-old Princess Charlotte. The insider added that Kate chose to celebrate her birthday “privately at home, no big party.”

Just a few days ago, the Royal Family shared absolutely adorable pictures of Princess Charlotte on her first day of preschool. The photos shared were actually taken by the Kate – known to be a photography aficionado – herself. The photos were taken outside Kensington Palace as Princess Charlotte was preparing to attend Wilcocks Nursery School in London.

After weeks of speculation, it has finally been confirmed that Prince Harry’s fiancée’s holiday plans officially include the royal family. Kensington Palace confirmed to ET that Markle will be joining the royal family for Christmas festivities.

“You can expect to see the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, Prince Harry, and Ms. Markle at Sandringham on Christmas Day,” a Kensington Palace spokesman told ET.

Buckingham Palace released a statement on Wednesday saying “The Queen and members of the Royal Family will attend the Morning Service on Christmas Day at Sandringham Church,” and Markle will also be attending the service.

Royal experts say the invitation is unprecedented. In 2010, Prince William and Kate were already engaged during the holidays, yet Kate did not attend the Christmas celebration.

With the wedding set for May 2018, it’ll be interesting to see which other traditions the newly engaged couple might break.

Harry also sought Markle’s parents’ blessing, which he gladly received as is confirmed in an additional statement by Kensington Palace.

“We are incredibly happy for Meghan and Harry. Our daughter has always been a kind and loving person,” Markle’s parents said, “To see her union with Harry, who shares the same qualities, is a source of great joy for us as parents. We wish them a lifetime of happiness and are very excited for their future together.”

Prince William and Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge, said they were “very excited for Harry and Meghan”, adding “It has been wonderful getting to know Meghan and to see how happy she and Harry are together.”

Introduced by mutual friends in July 2016, Markle and Harry managed to keep their romance quiet. In October 2016, their relationship was exposed, and in an unusual move, Harry issued a statement pleading that Markle’s privacy be respected. As their relationship deepened, Harry flew back and forth to Toronto, where Markle shot Suits and was introduced to Harry’s friends and even attended the wedding reception of the Duchess of Cambridge’s sister, Pippa Middleton. During the summer, the couple traveled to Botswana and Zambia for a romantic holiday, which began fueling speculations of a royal engagement. Nicholl told ET on Monday that she was told by her sources that “Meghan is likely to be moving to London as soon as November. She’s not signing up for another series of Suits. She’s planning to leave Canada and make London her new, permanent home.”

Kensington Palace made an official announcement confirming the pregnancy on Monday morning. The statement reads, “Their Royal Highnesses The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are very pleased to announce that The Duchess of Cambridge is expecting their third child,” adding that “[t]he queen and members of both families are delighted with the news.”

As Kate experienced during George’s and Charlotte’s pregnancies, she is suffering from acute morning sickness. The condition is called Hyperemesis Gravidarum, however, at this point it does not require hospital care, and Middleton is being cared for at Kensington Palace. She did, however, had to cancel the event she was scheduled to attend on Monday at the Hornsey Road Children’s center.

This is quite an exciting week for the royal couple, as their eldest, 4-year-old George is getting ready to start school in London this Thursday accompanied by his parents for the first day.

The royal three visited the Sunken Garden, which was converted to a special White Garden this year in honor to the late Princess of Wales. The White Garden, which opened in April, will continue throughout September, with white roses, lilies, cosmos and gladioli.

They met the gardener Sean Harkin, who designed the exhibit, and Graham Dillamore, who worked with Diana over 30 years ago. Representatives from few of the charities the late Princess supported in the last days of her life –  Great Ormond Street Hospital, the National Aids Trust, The Leprosy Mission, Royal Marsden Hospital, English National Ballet and Centrepoint — were also present to discuss the influence of Diana’s work with her sons and daughter-in-law.

William, Harry and Kate also met with the founders, former and current patients of the Osteopathic Center for Children. Princess Diana was due to meet with them in early September of 1997, to help launch their Sweet Pea Appeal. Sadly, she was tragically killed in a Paris car accident on August 31.

The royal brothers also made a visit to speak with well-wishers and to look at the flowers, photos and cards left as a tribute to their mother at the gates of Kensington Palace, where Princess Diana lived from 1981 until her death.

“The Duke and Prince Harry are grateful for the many flowers, letters, and messages they have received about their mother,” Kensington Palace said in a statement. “They wanted to say thank you to those who made the journey to Kensington Palace.”

In BBC documentary Diana, 7 Days, William and Harry opened up about their mother’s tragic death and how they’re still trying to fill the gaps that she left.

“All I want to do is try and fill the holes that my mother has left, and that’s what it’s about for us is trying to make a difference and in making a difference making her proud,” Harry said. “She was the Princess of Wales and she stood for so many things, but deep down inside for us she was a mother. And we will miss our mother and I wonder every single day what it would be like having her around.”

Prince William explained how both of his parents brought him and Harry up to understand that “there is this element of duty and responsibility that you have to do things you don’t want to do.”

“When it becomes that personal, walking behind your mother’s funeral cortege, it goes to another level of duty,” William added. “But I just kept thinking about what she would want and that she’d be proud of Harry and I. And effectively, she was there with us. It felt like she was walking alongside us to get us through it.”
