The trailer for The Kingsman prequel, which explores the origins of the mysterious British intelligence agency, reveals that the feature is set during World War I and its aftermath.

The official description reads: “As a collection of history’s worst tyrants and criminal masterminds gather to plot a war to wipe out millions, one man must race against time to stop them.”

The film was directed by Matthew Vaughn stars Ralph Fiennes along with Aaron Taylor-Johnson. Now, along with the clip and image, the prequel’s full ensemble cast was also revealed. It includes Gemma Arterton, Rhys Ifans, Matthew Goode, Tom Hollander, Daniel Brühl, Djimon Hounsou, and Charles Dance. 

The King’s Man is set to hit theaters on February 14, 2020.

The Kingsman prequel has officially a stellar cast with Harris Dickinson (Trust), Aaron Taylor-Johnson (Kick-Ass), Gemma Arterton (Quantum of Solace), Ralph Fiennes (Schindler’s List), Rhys Ifans (The Amazing Spider-Man), Matthew Goode (Downton Abbey), Charles Dance (Game of Thrones), Stanley Tucci (Spotlight), Daniel Bruhl (Rush), Tom Hollander (Bohemian Rhapsody), Robert Aramayo (Game of Thrones) and Djimon Hounsou (Blood Diamond) officially joining the cast.

Shooting of the next installment of Matthew Vaughn’s origins story is currently underway. According to Deadline, the anticipated prequel will reportedly explore origins of the Kingsman organization in the early 1900s and up to WWI. Vaughn is set to write and direct.

The feature, which is reportedly titled Kingsman: The Great Game is currently scheduled for release on November 8, 2019.
