The Glee alum took to Instagram to announced that she will drop her first-ever Christmas album, Christmas in the City, this October.

The 33-year-old singer/actress told People that the album has been a lifelong dream for her. 

“It was always my dream to make a Christmas record,” Michele told People. “Christmas is so special to me. It’s such an important time of year for me and my family that I have so many incredible memories from.”

Such a festive occasion calls for special collaborations. Michele has enlisted some major talent to belt out those Christmas tunes. She’ll be joined by Jonathan Groff, Darren Criss, and Cynthia Erivo. 

“Jonathan is my best friend in the entire world, and the song we’re singing on the record, ‘I’ll Be Home for Christmas,’ we’ve been singing together for over 10 years,” Michelle added. “Darren and I are dear friends so it was only natural that I would have him come on the record with me. My third very special guest is the incredible Cynthia Erivo, and if you don’t know Cynthia, you’re going to know her soon.”

The ceremony was officiated by none other than Ryan Murphy, who gave Michele her big break on his show Glee. The actress and her husband shared the first photo of their big day with People Magazine and it was obvious they were head over heels to finally be married.

“We are so excited to be married and grateful to be surrounded by our friends and family. And most of all, we’re so happy to spend the rest of our lives together,” said the young couple.

Michele and Reich tied the knot only a few weeks before the one-year anniversary of their engagement in April. Reich is the president of clothing brand AYR, and he met the actress sometime in 2017.

According to People, Michele’s co-stars Darren Criss, Becca Tobin, and Emma Roberts have also been in attendance. The bride said her vows in striking strapless wedding dress, with draped bodice and layered skirt.

Reich, president of clothing brand AYR and the former Glee star have yes confirmed their engagement with a sweet post on Instagram. Michele took to social media and shared a snap of herself, face covered with her hand boasting a beautiful ring on that finger. The caption read, “Yes” and an engagement ring emoji.

E! News reports that Reich proposed with a 4-carat elongated, radiant-cut ring, which he personally designed with Leor Yerushalmi and The Jewelers of Las Vegas.

The duo went public with their relationship not too long ago, last July. According to sources, they were “friends for a while” before they started dating.

According to ET, the highly anticipated series tells the story of a young wannabe rapper named Courtney Rose (Brandon Michael Hall) who decides to run for Mayor in his hometown as a public strategy to create interest in his new mix-tape. But when he actually gets elected, he calls on his mother, Dina (Yvette Nicole Brown), and his friend Valentina (Michele) to help him become the kind of person who can help his community.

Michele opened up to ET about her new TV project at ABC’s TCA party in Los Angeles.

“It’s such an incredible show with such amazing heart,” she said. “The humorous fantastic corporation of music its really inspirational story and I’m really hoping that everyone is going to love it.”

The former Scream Queens star also revealed why she was attracted to playing the role of Valentina, who she described as “incredibly politically savvy.”

“I really love strong female characters and she has a strength to her that is palpable so I was very excited,” she said.

The Mayor premieres on Oct. 3 at 9:30 p.m. ET/PT on ABC.
