Lopez (A.C Slater) is joined by fellow Saved By the Bell costar Elizabeth Berkley (Jessie Spano) on the set of the Max Diner where they are reminiscing about the show and preparing to shoot a promo for NBC’s streaming service Peacock. The two compare the reboot to being in a “time machine” when we see Max (played by Ed Alonzo), the diner’s owner appear behind them with his iconic haircut, wearing a shirt that says “The Max.”

Mario Lopez, Elizabeth Berkley, Mark-Paul Gosselaar (Zack Morris), Tiffani Thiessen (Kelly Kapowski), Dustin Diamond (“Screech” Powers), Lark Voorhies (Lisa Turtle), and Dennis Haskins (Principal Belding) starred in Saved By the Bell which ran for four seasons on NBC from 1989-1992.

Set to produce is Gosselaar and he’s also going to reprise his role in at last three episodes. The new streaming service, Peacock, will launch in April 2020.

The Saved By the Bell alum and his wife are expecting baby no. 3! The 45-year-old actor took to social media to share the exciting news. Fans and followers were ecstatic to learn that the exciting new were that they couple are expecting. 

“Oh BABY!! Here we go again…#LopezPartyofFive #DebutinginJuly,” Courtney captioned an adorable pic of Mario kissing her burgeoning baby bump on Instagram. Mario shared a sweet video of the family announcing the news. During the “fam bam update” on Instagram, Mario said, “That’s right! We’re adding to the team. We’re going to be a party of five. We don’t know what we’re having. It remains to be seen. So blessed.”

The couple is already parents to son Dominic Luciano, 5, and daughter Gia Francesca, 8.

Dobrev announced in 2015 that she would not be signing on for season seven. “That was the plan from the get-go,” she told Harper by Harper’s BAZAAR in August. “If anything, the fact that [leaving] terrified me drove me even more.” As for Wesley, he remained playing Stefan until the 2017 series finale.

There was also a reunion that happened on the west coast, as Saved by the Bell stars Mario Lopez and Mark-Paul Gosselaar caught up at the Los Angeles Chargers game on Sunday.
