The new series, Steve on Watch is heading to the video-on-demand service operated by the social media giant, giving Harvey’s take on everyday life and “issues affecting his audience,” as well as interviews with performers, musicians, viral stars and others, per Variety. 

“Reaching my audience anywhere and everywhere they are has always been the goal. Facebook Watch viewers are the most energetic, engaged community, and so are my amazing fans. Getting all those people to directly engage on a platform like this is the perfect evolution of the show,” said Harvey. 

The move follows NBC’s decision to fill its prime daytime slots with new entry The Kelly Clarkson Show.

Steve on Watch is set to premiere January 6, 2020.

The Never Been Kissed star has joined the ranks of Kelly Clarkson and RuPaul and is set to produce and headline a syndicated talk show for CBS Television Distribution. 

“It is beyond my wildest dreams to have this opportunity for a daily talk show,” she said in a press release. “I’m truly thrilled and honored to be creating this show with CBS.”

“We are very excited to be in business with Drew Barrymore and have our stations serve as the launch group for a show that is the brightest prospect I have seen in many years,” CBS President of Television Stations Peter Dunn added.

A title and premiere date for Barrymore’s new show have yet to be announced.
