The singer announced that he’ll be going on a new tour on Christmas Eve. According to the announcement he’ll be embarking on a 45-city stadium tour in the summer of 2020, starting May 14 through to September 26. 

“As humans, we are imperfect. My past, my mistakes, all the things that I’ve been through. I believe that I’m right where I’m supposed to be, and God has me right where he wants me,” he said in the video announcement. 

But that’s not all!

He also used the occasion to announce that he has new single, “Yummy,” coming January 3, AND a new album AND a docu-series. 

“It’s the music that I’ve loved the most out of anything I’ve done,” Bieber said of the album in the teaser video.

Now that’s what we call a X-mas miracle!

The Grammy Award-winning artist first featured the song in an advertisement for Mercedes-Benz’s new EQC model. The Weekend also starred in the car manufacturer ad. 

The Weeknd released My Dear Melancholy, last year. His last full-length, Starboy, was released in 2016. This year, he’s shared the songs Lost in the Fire and Power Is Power. We think that The Weekend’s next full-length album seems to be imminent.

“The Archer” follows the pop icon’s first two releases, “Me!” and “You Need to Calm Down.” It’s also the highly anticipated album’s fifth track. 

“There’s a lot that’s covered, emotionally,” she said about the song. “And I really wanted to give you track 5 before the album came out. Track 5 is kind of a tradition that really started with you guys, because I didn’t realize I was doing this, because as I was making albums, I don’t know why, but instinctively, I was putting a very emotional, honest track as track 5.”

The 29-years-old signer-songwriter added during an Instagram Live video chat: “It’s not the next single, it’s just a song I love on the album. I know that can be confusing with the songs that come out. I haven’t made a video for it or anything. It’s just a glimpse into another side of the album I wanted to show you.”

The long awaited released of a new single comes five years after the release of their last album In a World Like This. 

This time the group got personal, singing about heartbreak, a staple in many pop songs, But the group knew that they came up with something special this time. 

“The minute we heard this song we knew it was special,” Kevin Richardson said in a statement. “I geeked out over the piano and synths. When that groove drops on the second verse, COME ON. Great verse, hook and melodies. Just makes you wanna listen over and over again.” Bandmate Howie Dorough added, “It had that wow factor from the demo through to its final recording.”

The group has just celebrated their 25th anniversary and have been working on their Backstreet Boys: Larger Than Life Las Vegas residency as well as a new studio album, which will be their 10th. 

Their new album is set to drop this year.
