Tensions are running high in the new promotional clip for Feud: Capote Vs. The Swans, set to premiere on FX later this winter.

The show’s second season will center on acclaimed writer Truman Capote and a group of society’s most elite women, whom he nicknamed “the swans.” He was once their most trusted confidante, before one act of betrayal effectively destroyed those relationships, banishing him from high society and sending him into a spiral of self-destruction.

The first teaser offers snippets of cutting dialog delivered by Capote’s “swans”, “Babe” Paley (Naomi Watts), Slim Keith (Diane Lane), C.Z. Guest (Chloë Sevigny), Lee Radziwill (Calista Flockhart), Ann Woodward (Demi Moore), and Joanne Carson (Molly Ringwald).

They’ll be joined by Tom Hollander in the role of Truman Capote, while the supporting cast will include Treat Williams, Joe Mantello, Russell Tovey, and Jessica Lange.

The first two episodes of Feud: Capote Vs. The Swans will premiere on FX on January 31, 2024. The series will feature a total of eight episodes airing weekly on FX after the premiere, and they’ll be available on Hulu one day later.
