]]>According to a statement, the artist’s decision to cancel the previously announced tour follows a decision to “reevaluate elements of production” on the tour. The statement released by Live Nation on Tuesday also confirmed that the tour will now kick off in Europe in February.
Following the scheduling changes, Minaj took to Twitter to announce that Future will still perform with her during the European leg of the tour, but she “may have to take another co-headliner,” or she may decide to just have “three or four opening acts.”
“This is all happening because I pushed my album back two months. I just finished writing and recording hours before the album came out. So now, I just simply don’t have time to rehearse, and be on the road, and give you guys the level of the show I need to give. I really apologize, but it’ll be worth it,” she said.
The timing of these news fueled rumors of low ticket sales, in addition to Minaj’s fourth LP, Queen, which failed to go to No. 1.

]]>The worldwide NICKIHNDRXX tour will kick off this fall.
The international joint tour is scheduled to begin September 21 in Baltimore, Maryland and end the following March in Switzerland. Beginning with venues across the US including Washington D.C., Detroit, and New York, the duo will then cross the Atlantic for winter performances well into the New Year with performances scheduled in major European cities.
The tour is set to launch just after Minaj’s album Queen is set to drop in August.
The 10-time Grammy nominee took to social media to announce the tour and pre-sale dates.
If announcing her worldwide tour wasn’t enough for her fans, Minaj also dropped a new single featuring Lil Wayne titled “Rich Sex” and teased a new single with Ariana Grande called “Bed” out this Thursday.
Tickets for the North American dates will go on sale to the general public beginning on June 15.
