]]>Multiple outlets confirm that the Unbelievable star has been tapped to star in the lead role in the upcoming drams series Pieces of Her.
The series based on Karin Slaughter’s novel of the same name centers on “a random act of violence in a sleepy Georgia town that sets off an unexpected chain of events for 30-year-old Andy Oliver and her mother Laura (Collette). Desperate for answers, Andy embarks on a dangerous journey across America, drawing her towards the dark, hidden heart of her family.”
The novel’s television adaptation hails from Charlotte Stoudt who will serve as writer, executive producer, and showrunner.
Collette most recently starred in Knives Out. Her other credits include United States of Tara, Hereditary, Velvet Buzzsaw and The Sixth Sense.
