After headlining Coachella in 2017 and filming scenes from A Star Is Born on its grounds, Lady Gaga is ready to return to the desert. She’ll be joined by Post Malone, who previously performed at the festival in 2018 and made several guest appearances, and punk-rock legends Green Day, who are making their Coachella debut next year.
Travis Scott has also been announced as the headliner of the floating spot, previously occupied by No Doubt. According to the inspiration on Coachella’s poster, he’ll “design the desert” during his slot, and his representatives revealed he’s planning to debut his next era at the festival.
Coachella will return to the Empire Polo Grounds in Indio, California on April 11-13 and April 18-20, 2025. The list of major performers hitting the stage next year also includes Missy Elliot, Megan Thee Stallion, Charli XCX, Anitta, Benson Boone, FKA Twigs, Clairo, Zedd, Jennie, Glorilla, Lisa, Tyla, Misfits, The Prodigy, and Shaboozey.

The list of contenders for the video of the year also included Ariana Grande’s “We Can’t Be Friends (Wait for Your Love)”, Billie Eilish’s “Lunch”, Doja Cat’s “Paint the Town Red”, Eminem’s “Houdini”, SZA’s “Snooze”, but they couldn’t stand their ground to “Fortnight”.
This chart-topping hit came out victorious in several more categories, including best collaboration, song of the summer, best editing, and best direction, while Swift herself won awards for the artist of the year and best pop.
Despite dominating this year’s MTV VMAs, “Fortnight” failed to win the coveted song of the year award. Sabrina Carpenter dominated this category with “Espresso”, beating tough competition in Beyoncé’s “Texas Hold ‘Em”, Jack Harlow’s “Lovin on Me”, Kendrick Lamar’s “Not Like Us”, and Teddy Swims’ “Lose Control”.
The 2024 MTV VMAs took place at the UBS Arena in Elmont, New York, on September 11. Megan Thee Stallion hosted the ceremony, while Katy Perry was honored with the Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award.

The musician announced the news whilst performing at Wyoming’s Cheyenne Frontiers Days festival on Thursday night.
“I’ve got some pretty awesome news, and the reason my voice is kinda f**d is because I was in the studio for the last three days and we just finished up the new album, and I think it’s gonna be pretty goddamn out of sight,” he told the crowd.
The now completed album is set to follow last year’s beerbongs & bentleys, however, the rapper has yet to announce a release date for the new album.
Malone, who currently has three tracks in top 15 of this week’s Hot 100, heads out on tour along with Swae Lee and Tyla Yaweh September 14.
Check out the announcement below.
Cardi wasn’t the only one celebrating after Billboard revealed the list of nominees for this year’s ceremony. Drake and Post Malone both did a great job and received a total of 17 nods each. Travis Scott was right behind with 12 nominations.
They’ll all be competing for the two biggest awards of the night – top artist and top Billboard 200 album. The top artist category also includes Ariana Grande and the late rapper XXXTentacion.
This year’s Billboard Music Awards will take place on May 1 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas. The ceremony will be aired live on NBC, with Kelly Clarkson coming back to host.

Malone’s new song is produced by Louis Bell and Frank Dukes and is surprisingly stripped back. It sees the “Rockstar” star rapping over a simple beat, referencing numerous things including LaCroix sparkling water, rockers Fall Out Boy and Hall of Fame basketball player Dikembe Mutombo.
“Wow” also came with an interesting animated music video done by Jaime Restrepo. Check it out below.
Post Malone announced that he is working on new music back in November, writing on his Twitter the following: “Trying to put out a new body of work before the end of the year but we all know how that goes wish me luck.”

— Beerbongs & Bentleys (@PostMalone) November 21, 2018
While this “new body of work” could just be the single “Wow,” there is a possibility that Malone is working on a new album.
Post Malone’s last studio release, Beerbongs & Bentleys, came out in April 2018. The album was a huge success, debuting at No.1 on the US Billboard 200 and breaking several streaming records at the time.
]]>This promising project is an adaptation of one of the books from the Spenser saga. This series of detective novels was initially written by Robert B. Parker, but Ace Atkins took over from him after the legendary mystery author passed away in 2010.
The upcoming flick will be based on his novel Wonderland, published in 2013. It follows Spenser after leaving prison, finding himself sucked back into Boston’s criminal underworld, as he tries to uncover the truth about a sensational murder and the twisted conspiracy behind it.
Post Malone’s casting attracted most attention because he’s a complete newcomer to this world, but Wonderland boosts impressive cast of experienced performers. In addition to Wahlberg, it also stars Oscar winner Alan Arkin, Black Panther‘s Winston Duke, and Fargo‘s Bokeem Woodbine.
The name of the character Post Malone is going to play is still a mystery, but so is the release date of this intriguing Netflix original. Peter Berg, who worked with Wahlberg on four separate occasions will serve as the director.
]]>During his appearance on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, Post Malone revealed that he got his first tattoo after working with Bieber on the song “Déjà vu,” which was part of Malone’s debut studio album, Stoney.
“We had a tattoo artist come through, and then I was just like, ‘You know what? Justin Bieber’s got some tats. And, I love you, but I know I’m way tougher than you,'” Malone told Jimmy Fallon. “So, I was always so scared to get one, and then I got one.”
Besides telling the story about getting his first tattoo, Post Malone also debuted his new song which will be a part of the soundtrack for Marvel’s animated superhero movie Into the Spider-Verse.
You can check out the full story about Malone’s tattoo and listen to his new track in the video below.
