]]>The “Delicate” singer has broken her tour’s first venue concert attendance record according to Tom Sadler, President and CEO of the Arizona Sports and Tourism Authority. The previous record was held by One Direction with 56,524 concert-goers in 2014.
“The frenzy continues to grow as Taylor Swift has already broken the University of Phoenix Stadium’s concert attendance record, which was previously held by One Direction in 2014 with 56,524 fans,” said Sadler on Friday. “With 11 days left before the show, Swift has already surpassed their attendance number. The Taylor Swift reputation Stadium Tour, in Glendale, Arizona on May 8th will feature Swift along with opening acts Camilla Cabello and Charli XCX.”
Swift celebrated the news on her Instagram Story on Friday saying, “…I just got the news that you guys broke the attendance record for the stadium in Glendale, so that’s just… that’s really great. Thank you so much for that.”
With less than two weeks before the tour debuts, Swift is letting fans in on some tour secrets. One day at a time as part of a “daily countdown,” Swifties are getting to know more and more about the highly anticipated tour like stage size, use of gigantic video screens and even some of the moves she’s been working on.

]]>Due to “overwhelming demand,” the 28-year-old singer has decided to add dates to her Reputation tour lineup. The tour kicks off on May 8 in Glendale, Arizona and is set to continue until November.
Swift fans can register to pre-purchase tickets beginning January 5 until the 18, before they go on sale to the general public on January 31.
Some of the new dates added to the tour are Santa Clara, California, Washington, D.C., Philadelphia, East Rutherford, New Jersey, Foxborough, Massachusetts, Minneapolis and Dallas.
