Scooby-Doo’s cinematic return is one step closer with the first look at the 3D GGI animation feature from director Tony Cervone.

The project was announced all the way back in 2014.

In Scoob! we’ll finally get to see how the “lifelong friends Scooby and Shaggy first met and how they joined with young detectives Fred, Velma, and Daphne to form the famous Mystery Inc.” Moviegoers will also see the Scooby and the Mystery Gang “face their biggest, most challenging mystery ever: a plot to unleash the ghost dog Cerberus upon the world.”

Scooby-Doo, voiced by Frank Welker, is joined by Zac Efron’s Fred, Amanda Seyfried’s Daphne, and Gina Rodriguez’s Velma. The voice cast also features Kiersey Clemons, Jason Isaacs, Ken Jeong, Tracy Morgan, and Mark Wahlberg.

The film is set for release on May 15, 2020. Watch the trailer below!
